Counselor

At Deanna Davenport Elementary, our school counseling program is dedicated to supporting the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students to promote their overall achievement and success.

Our school counselor, Ms. Zenteno, works closely with school staff, families, and community members to foster a positive and inclusive school environment. This is guided by our school-wide expectations:

Through ongoing guidance lessons across all grade levels, students develop essential life skills such as coping strategies, personal growth, emotional regulation, and tools for academic success.

We also offer both individual and small group counseling to ensure every student has the support they need to thrive—both personally and academically.
