Students will also be introduced to different clubs like Sports, STEAM, Cooking, and many more.
At Deanna Davenport Texas ACE Program, our mission is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are committed to establishing strong parent engagement, promoting social and emotional learning (SEL) and providing enriching experiences that empower children to reach their full potential.
We believe that parents are essential partners in a child’s education and development. Our program is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships between parents, children and educators. We plan to actively engage parents through maintaining open lines of communication, sharing updates on their child’s progress and achievements. We will host family workshops and events to further support family child bonds and equip parents with the skills and knowledge they need to support their child’s emotional and academic development. We encourage parents to connect not only with their child but also with each other, creating a supportive community that extends beyond the after school program.
Our program is dedicated to promoting the development of emotional intelligence, empathy and self-awareness. We plan to achieve this by implementing SEL activities that will enable children to explore their emotions, develop resilience and build healthy relationships with peers and adults. These activities will teach conflict resolution strategies, mindfulness exercises that can be incorporated into daily routines and encourage peer support.
We believe that enrichment experiences are essential for a well-rounded education. Our program offers a diverse range of enriching activities that expand children’s horizons. These activities include but are not limited to arts and creativity allowing children to explore various art forms, STEM activities to inspire curiosity and problem-solving skills, physical activities to promote health and teamwork, and cultural exploration to promote tolerance and understanding of different cultures and traditions.
DDE Texas ACE is committed to preparing children for success in school and life. We strive to empower children to become resilient, compassionate, and confident individuals who will contribute positively to their communities and the world.
